    Cloud Saved Games not working on xBox One


    I am trying to transfer some saved Minecraft games from my Xbox 360 to the Xbox One. So far, I have done the following:

    1) Upgraded account to xBox Live Gold subscription

    2) Selected Game and uploaded Save for Xbox One (see picture #1)

    3) On Xbox One, logged into same profile (with XBox Live Gold Subscription) and following instructions here:

    Xbox Cloud Storage | Cloud Game Saves | Xbox Saved Games

    However, when I went to Settings:System:Storage, there was no option to 'Enable Cloud Saved Games'. See picture#2

    4) Opened Minecraft on Xbox One and went to 'Load Games'. Game from XBox 360 not visible. Selected Sync Old Worlds. "No worlds from other versions of Minecraft detected". See Picture #3

    The network is working fine on both consoles.

    I've searched every forum I can think of. Help!!

    You don't need Gold for cloud saves, Silver membership works for that also.

    This is exactly why its stupid that Microsoft took away Storage Management from the users' control. You can't back up a working saved file on a USB stick in case situation were your saved file gets corrupted. You are forced to use a stupid system that in
    effect has only 1 copy of every game save youve ever played on the Cloud. Xbox One cloud doesn't care if its automatically uploading a corrupted same game file or not. Erasing your last working saved game file on the cloud. You are left with ZERO working backups
    of your save game.

    So I think this page lays out what you need.

    The problem is that you can't transfer a world directly from Xbox 360 Minecraft to the latest Bedrock edition of Minecraft. You need to transfer it through the Minecraft: Xbox One edition first.

    Basically you'll go from Minecraft: 360 Edition > Minecraft: Xbox One Edition > Minecraft (bedrock)

    Hi Saalikh,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question on save data. If the console is an Xbox one all save data is automatically

    saved to the cloud    . Once you launch the game again it will get the save from the cloud by saying (syncing data for (name of game)).

    If the console is an Xbox 360 and you enabled cloud saves then it will work same as Xbox one. If you haven't enabled cloud save, it will delete it completely.

    Thanks for your response. To answer your question; if you are connected to the internet, all Xbox saves are uploaded and backed up to the cloud with the Xbox One. For more on Xbox One game saves, check out this article:

    If you are saving to a cloud storage, it should work that when you turn on the game on the Xbox ONE, then this save is synchronized.

    HI,

    All game saves are stored in the cloud for safety, when it has a connection to the internet and you are connected to Xbox Live.

    So if your game save gets corrupted on your Xbox, you can download your game save from the Cloud and overwrite your corrupted one, thus restoring your game save to full working order to continue on your game progress. You could previously copy your game
    save to another drive , but this was discontinued, in favour of it being held in the cloud.
