    Basically my daughter started the game over and then let the cloud save happen, so I lost all my progress.

    Is there any way to access the previous cloud saves?

    I'm sorry to hear your saved data was deleted.

    You could try deleting your local data for Rayman Legends, which would force your console to download the latest save on the cloud.

    To do so:

    - Turn your console on.

    - Go to My games & apps > Rayman Legends > Manage game and add-ons > Saved data > Select your profile > Delete from the console.

    - Launch Rayman Legends.

    * Please keep in mind this will only work if your cloud save for Rayman Legends hasn't been overwritten by the new game your child started.

    As to a way to prevent this from happening again, I'm afraid there isn't one.

    To clarify, was it your data that your child deleted?
