Cloud Save Accessibility

My son accidentally deleted his Elden Ring save for Xbox X. I researched that if I go the manage game & add ons --> delete the save game file --> return to game it will load in the save from the cloud. The problem is he had closed out the game/turned off the Xbox after deleting his save so I think the deleted game was saved to the cloud and therefore it isn't bring the save game when I try that.

Is there anyway to access older saves on the cloud or do we have any other options?

Hello Aron, by your description I believe that the save has already been subscribed to the system by the current one and it will not be possible to recover it.

However, try to do the following, check if the account that plays Elder Ring is found as main, if it is as main, take the console offline and try to start the game to see if it loads any local save that may be on the console.

In order to access your save games, you will want to save them on the cloud first, then you will be able to access the save games from any console that you sign into. You do need a gold sub in order to save to the cloud however.

You should be able to still access the cloud storage to move the saves off it onto your console, since you can't access the cloud for saves while you have a silver account.

How would I access games that see saved to the cloud?

like if a save got corrupted would I be able o get an older version pf that save from the cloud?

yes it will work. both systems are xbox S model. so you're good to go!

but to access the save file that is not necessary. you can turn on cloud save on your system for both you and your friend. then he can download the save files from cloud to his console. but to access the cloud, you have to have a gold subscription!
