    CLOUD HELP PLEASE


    Hi all...

    recently got back in to gaming. And learned about the cloud. May as well explain my story as it be easier

    so i repurchased fallout 4, reinstalled online then went back playing offline. I started a new game and it got over written by the cloud and brought up my old save where i completed it..

    but ive gone back on old saves and continued rougly where i left off my nee start.

    But my worry is now when i reconnect will this all happen again and me end up losing this current save and get my old data AGAIN or is there a way to make it primary when i connect so i wont lose current session?

    i dont have permanent internet access so csnt conect online at all times so onow this is an issue.

    Just dont want to lose my saves again or i can see myself dropping the gaming again as it quite annoying losing days of play time

    please help any one thanks!!!!

    It's been a while & while I played it on PC I suspect there'll be a similar setting on console, but saves were generally available to load from the title screen where you could select which one you wished to load.

    Oh dear so basically i got to lose everything ive done the past 2 weeks? ☹️ Been on lock down so can imagine the ampunt of work ive done.

    Is there a way i can delete cloud storage so it saves my new play through next time i connect online?

    Hi, I have read through your post and fully understand your situation and the Xbox Ambassadors are here to help.

    the only way its possible is going into your saved data settings on your Xbox and deleting your local data on the Xbox and the cloud data via making sure you delete everywhere when prompted to delete data, however,
    it will overwrite your current data and will need to start from the beginning in order to get newly saved data rather than your old data.

    I understand your concern. Can you please let me know on what device are you playing Xbox Cloud Gaming? Are you able to play other cloud games right now? If possible, please do try using a different network connection to check if the error will persist. Hotspot is okay.

I am happy to help and suggest solutions that hopefully resolve the problem. You are signed in on multiple devices: sign back in to continue playing".This error usually appears when you are not logged into the Xbox Live services. First, work through these steps to ensure you are connected to the Xbox Live servers:

    Solution 1: Make sure you are connected to the internet

    Troubleshoot your Xbox network connection | Xbox Support This link provides network troubleshooting steps.

    Solution 2: Sign into your Xbox Live account via the Xbox app

    You can download and install the Xbox Console Companion app via the Google play store or App store on iOS. Once downloaded, log in to the app using the Xbox Live credentials. Then after your app is set up, try to launch an Xbox game via cloud gaming.

    Solution 3: Check your firewall software

    If your issue continues, check your firewall software (if you have any) settings:

    Ensure that TCP Port 8888, as well as Port 3478 (UDP & TCP) and Port 5222 (UDP & TCP), are open and forwarded, then repeat the steps above.
