Cloud gaming with the windows app - Games not starting

Just to confirm, are you currently subscribed to an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription? Please check your account subscription page via https://account.microsoft.com/services to confirm that.

It’s required to have an Ultimate subscription to use cloud gaming.

To start a party when cloud gaming from the Xbox app for Windows:
Press Windows logo key + G on your keyboard or press the Xbox button on your controller to open Xbox Game Bar.
Select Widget Menu > Xbox Chat > Start a party.
Select Add someone and then choose the friends you want to invite.

If you’re trying to launch a game and get a blank or black screen after the cloud gaming loading animation:

Check to see if there are any available updates to the Xbox app for Windows, select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. Disconnect and reconnect to the network, then try launching the game again.

There is no way to transfer games from the console to the pc. You have to download them through the windows store or the xbox app. If you have your savegames in the cloud and start the game on the pc they should synch with you cloud savegame as long as
you use the same account.

Hey, The2armedmen. I'm not sure whether you are referring the purchase of the game using your subscription or using the 'Cloud Gaming'.

If using Cloud Gaming, If you're trying to launch a game and get a blank or black screen after the cloud gaming loading animation: Check to see if there are any available updates to the Xbox app for Windows. Disconnect and reconnect to the network, then try launching the game again.

If with purchase (ex. Gamepass), If you right click the game in your start menu and go to app settings, terminate all processes, and reset the app data, relaunch the game and it will work.

cloud saves will automatically start uploading once you’re signed in and connected to Xbox Live. Game save sync is usually fast, but allow a couple of minutes before you try playing on another device. The article that we provided refers to playing games
