    my four year old started a new far cry four game and it saved to the cloud so when I deleted the local save data and reloaded my game I went from 38%complete to 0.8% , to say I'm angry is an understatement , is it not possible to sync older data from the
    cloud or is my game gone forever

    You don't need Gold for cloud saves, Silver membership works for that also.

    You can't transfer save data directly from the cloud saves. Some BC games allow you to upload your xbox 360 game saves to cloud so you can use them in your xbox one as long as you play online.
