Cloud Data Sync Error

Hi, I have had problems with syncing my game data back from the cloud and I have done about everything I can think of to fix it. Whenever I try to sync a game I get a notification stating "We couldn't sync your data from the cloud just now" and it gives
me the option to try again (which doesn't work) or play offline (which has worked for every game but minecraft). When I try to sync my worlds in minecraft some of the worlds will keep giving me the notification except for a few where it gives me the notification
for about an hour and then syncs back. Does anyone have any solution on how to fix this?

You should receive a prompt to use local data or cloud data if set offline. I'd try to troubleshoot the sync and see if it is fixed

This has happened to me quite a few times. I would advise you to unplug your modem and router let it sit off for about 45 seconds then try again. This sort of issue usually resolves itself.

 

I have already tried this before and it still didn't work

 

Is your nat type open on your Xbox? To check go to settings then network and should say in middle nat type. If not open unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds shut down your Xbox and unplug the power supply for Xbox for 30 seconds plug all back in
and give it a try. I had this happen for a week straight on assassins Creed and it eventually worked.

Having the same problem as Briny, specifically with minecraft. I have several maps saved to the cloud, but when I try to download them, it gives the same error message after about 2 to 3 minutes. When I tried syncing the smallest map I had, and it did go
through, though. Perhaps it's an issue with simply timing out before the entire file can be downloaded? If so, the only solution on our end is to get faster internet to beat this time out window. (yeah, like that's going to happen.)

I can play all I want on the one map I was able to download, but the rest remain inaccessible to me. Based on what I've read, this is likely something Microsoft needs to fix on their end.

 

It's odd because I have gotten 6 of my 12 worlds back so far but in a time period of 2 months and those are my smaller worlds but I have a huge world which was a huge city I have spent years on which I am having a hard time getting back and it is quite annoying.
All of my medium to large sized worlds I am having a hard time getting back(there are 3 of those) and I still have 3 small worlds which I still haven't been able to retrieve. Do you think they will fix it if it is a problem on there side? If anyone knows any
solutions I could do please post it.(Btw those 6 worlds I am trying to retrieve are harder to get than the 6 worlds I have already retrieved, but those few I got back were still quite difficult and I got many error notifications before I actually got the world).

My problem has just come up in the last 24 hours, after getting a new xbox one and redownloading everything. As for this problem, I don't know when Microsoft will fix it. I'd put it on an external hard drive and transfer it manually, like I would with the
360, but the xbox one system doesn't allow any of that. I keep all my save data for the 360 on a flash drive, and that is more reliable than getting error codes in destiny. Unfortunately, they've made it so the users have little control over their content;
You can say what to download and what to delete, that's about it. so if there is any problem like this, the user can't do anything to solve it or get around it.

I apologize for the rather useless rant, I just had to get that off my chest.

 

Hopefully with more people posting about it on the forums, they'll be more inclined to look into it sooner.

 

Hopefully, are you getting (0) as an error code for minecraft

That is exactly what is happening to me. It's so weird.
