If the headset isn't licensed for Xbox probably is not going to work on it
You may need to get instead the wired version

What is the difference between and a chat headset and a stereo headset? I assume its a chat headset because I purchased it for chat and it plugs in to the controller. This headset also proclaims on the box that its for xbox. Its the cloud x stinger core

I have two wireless headsets. I use the RIG 800's the most. I also have the LS35X's by Lucid Sound. For a wired headset the Hyper X Cloud's were the best I've owned and a good price now. They have a few Clouds but the one I have is more in line with
the Silver Edition.

Hi, I use the Hyper X Cloud X headset, and I have to say it's a very good headset. Works really well with Dolby Atmos as well.
