@ ghostz framerate issues can be seen no matter how close u sit or far. Respawn parroted ms claims and said offloadin ai to cloud to free up system resorses would help then retain framerate. It was fud

Why I am buying the Xbox One

im not trying to put too much faith in the cloud computing BUT if microsoft blows some pixie dust and make games that much more amazing with it i cant wait until that day happens and all of the doubters will eat their words and cry lol.

    This is called education.

That being said, here's s'more cloud computing info. Have fun with that.

    .

    And this.

    .

    Also this.

    .

    And that.

    .

Seriously, guys, THIS is why there are so many doubters. This isn't the first time people have been told how awesome cloud computing would improve their games, and the last stellar example of that, it all turned out to be a big steaming pile of BS. So you
guys can argue the cloud's wonders all you like, and they might even turn out to be true in the end, but at least admit there's a basis for people to be skeptical when all we have to go on are simulated asteroids in a controlled environment, and loads of positive
    buzz..

As long as it's kept out of offline experiences, I don't care what they do with their cloud.

  5. anyhow im out had ms demonstrated this c'loud tech on 1000's of xb1 from servers on the oppisite coast then this topic would have had more than just 8 people parrotn taking points on xbox.Com would have made headlines thereality
is the consumer level implmentation is so far off its not even relevant because of the distribution and cost effective ness my first post sums up the reality here. I get it it makes u some bitter thereality stings and no amout of chest beating is going to
help the shattered pipe dreams some may have

  7. If Developers need some stupid Online crap to get their game to run, they must be terribad at their job.

Hey EA: How did that work for Simcity? What's that? You mean the game is even less complex than 4?! No way, omgosh gurrlfrieeend.

@Pyramid And what does EA and Simcity have to do with anything? Are you saying all online powered games will automatically cause headaches and frustration? LMAO!!!

"You mean the game is even less complex than 4?! " That was implying somethhhnigggg in congruent wit the topic. But let's just keeping LMAO's while your Xbox-Oneechan is apologizing for not being all she could be.

But since you want to be Mr has history never proven anything in the time you tried to claim Sony was a near-monopoly, lats look at history showing us how terribad this always-online junk is all! LMAO!!! Cloud computing is real ( for the doubters ) :D

  11. I personally think the cloud will cast a dark shadow over gaming, it may sound good on paper but in reality it's not going to work as intended for a lot of people, so some people will like it and others will rue the day it was implemented.

And it should be kept to multiplayer games only, in my opinion.

Well Destiny and The Division will be online only so I guess we will see how well those games are received. And as they are to be always connected why not take advantage of anything the xbox cloud can offer to make bigger and better worlds than what just
using local console Hardware can offer.

My Internet is pretty Average and I'm still in favour of this move.

@ Wilko: It's only going to be bad for certain people not because of the capabilities or limitations of the cloud itself, but because of their ISPS, which will often limit their connections, stability, or are far too willing to throttle them. The cloud itself,
is overall a good thing and in regards to your last statement, I disagree - just because a game is single-player only doesn't mean it can't be online.

@Pyramid But I've been enjoying Titanfall since it launched. Well...when my friends schedule line up with mine anyway. I guess it being online only proves you wrong?

Tell me what does being "less complex than 4" have to do with bad handling of Simcity as a whole? The games simplicity has nothing to do with poor management of server workload or whatever caused the downtime.

You say look at history and I'm sure people making games are doing just that to avoid those problems. In fact, part of the reason Titanfall is only on MS products is to avoid those same problems. Maybe you should get your head out of the past and research
    what's actually happening TODAY.

Aside from quitting games when Kinect signs someone else in, my Xbox One is all I asked it to be.

  15. @Geek, I have a 120meg connection and I still don't think Cloud computing is going to be good for gaming/gamers in general.

I agree with it in principle but I don't think the average user will get the best experience at the moment, when more ISP's have better connections I think it will be good, but until then it's going to be problematic for many...
