Hello everyone Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

Honestly, I don't see the support for the Xbox 360 stopping until 2017 and I will keep on picking-up new games for the Xbox 360 instead of the Xbox One if that option is available. For example...

    (1) Alien Isolation

    (2) The Evil Within

    (3) Dragon Ball: Xenoverse

Have a nice day or afternoon or night everyone Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

    :)

Hey guys, here saying we are now recruiting for our clan! This clan is an All Xbox clan it's not really specified toward any game, so all Multiplayer based games apply! Also This is a clan of talkative people, so don't be afraid to say anything
that's on your mind (but do stay low on the trash-talking).

    We only have 3 requirements:

1: You must have a mic.

    2. You have to have a positive ratio on your best game.

    3. You must be willing to change your gamer tag.

If you'd like to apply on our Call of Duty Elite clan page, the clan name is
    The Last Gen.

We will be trying to make a website for our clan, if you have experience on making a website using the Enjin site,

    Enjin.com
    , please note so.

Also if you have any kind of skills whether it be from animating to persuasion, we will be glad to have you aboard!

If you have ay questions, you can PM me or TLG Vegeta.

Thank you for taking your time for reading. We hope to hear from you.

Yeah, reading the book would be too much to ask the current generation. And watching a movie based on a book, with no special effects would be too much to ask as well.

Closing the Book on Last Generation

Xbox 360 came out 2005 and they didn't cut XBL support til 2010? If that's the case, it should be at least 4 or 5 years before the cut XBL support for Xbox 360. People who have been here a loooooooooong time may know. And Xbox 1 doesn't turn 2 until November
this year). People should appreciate how great and fun Xbox 360 is.

  5. Hello "smileskybird" Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

I love my Xbox 360 and I will never get rid of it Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

Furthermore, the longer that the Xbox 360 is supported, the better it is going to be for me Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

I will only buy Xbox One games if they are optimized for the Xbox One, NOT held back so that it can be ported to the Xbox 360 and then slightly tweaked to look better on the Xbox One.

Have a nice day or afternoon or night "smileskybird" Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

@ Lei Fang..... I am baffled...... why buy next gen games on a soon to be obsolete console? It makes no sense (IMO).... when the 360 is retired, those games will be dead with it...... Why own a X1 if you continue to favour your 360??? I'm just real
curious.... it's your money, do what you want... ???

I have the Xbox 1 Day One Edition console with Kinect because I was immature and thought it would be cool as Xbox 360 is. I too still play way more on my 360. 80% of my friends don't have an Xbox 1 right now and it has some games I love which aren't on Xbox
    1. When 360 is retired, there will be no XBL multiplayer but you can still play single player games on it especially disc games.

Zoo Tycoon on X1 has multiplayer and Kinect Features. X360 has none of that due to hardware limitations. Minecraft has worlds 36x bigger and 1 second loading and saving times (ok, not quite 1 second, but it's super fast) and worlds load and draw furtherer
and faster. I to will never get rid of my Xbox 360 slim console. Games look better on Xbox 1 I brought Screamride for 360 and 1 and the graphics on 1 look much better especially the water detail the 360 version looks like it was drawn with a crayon where as
the 1 version looks 1080p high detailed. But Microsoft did such a great job with 360 that it isn't rocket science why many are still on it.

Closing the Book on Last Generation

    Hey Kingvas

Lei Fang is under the mistaken impression that if a game could be released for both the XBox 360 and the XBox ONE then that game must be a last gen port that's been minimally spruced up for release on current gen.

  9. Hello kingvas78 and Azrael008uk Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

I love the fact that the Xbox 360 is capable of running the newer games because it shows how powerful it is because developers are now tapping into its full potential Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

    My point is this...

The Xbox One is WAY more powerful than the Xbox 360, so I don't understand why developers aren't pushing Xbox One games to the systems limits?

Yes, I know that there is still money to be made by making games for the Xbox 360 because it still has a large user base. But...

I feel that games such as Alien Isolation, The Evil Within, and Dragon Ball: Xenoverse were purposely limited to be compatible with the Xbox 360 instead of taking advantage of the power of the Xbox One.

Then, the Xbox 360 version gets dressed up with prettier visuals and now it is a current generation game.

Please understand that it isn't my intention to be mean / rude to those that are still on the Xbox 360, but I want the developers to get the most out of the Xbox One's capabilities.

I am really sorry if the new games can't run on the Xbox 360 because of its hardware limitations, but the Xbox One is here.

I will buy the Xbox 360 version of newer Xbox One games because if the Xbox 360 can handle it, then this " new game " is a wanna be next generation game; not a real next generation game.

"The Xbox One is WAY more powerful than the Xbox 360, so I don't understand why developers aren't pushing Xbox One games to the systems limits?"

Because it's still in its infancy. I can't think of any game in this generation or on previous ones that has (keyword) pushed the limits of what the hardware can do this early. Can you?

"I will buy the Xbox 360 version of newer Xbox One games because if the Xbox 360 can handle it, then this " new game " is a wanna be next generation game; not a real next generation game."

I wouldn't want to play, say, Black Flag (the developers themselves said that making this game run on 360 was a nightmare) or Advanced Warfare (pop-in textures all around) on 360 when those games were made with current gen in mind and merely downgraded to
    fit last gen requirements.

But if you're ok with gimped games, be my guest.

  12. Hello "Kanaye x" Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

    You said the following

    ..........

I wouldn't want to play, say, Black Flag (the developers themselves said that making this game run on 360 was a nightmare) or Advanced Warfare (pop-in textures all around) on 360 when those games were made with current gen in mind and merely downgraded to
    fit last gen requirements.

    ..........

My response to this is simply, if the developer is having problems making a current generation game run on a previous generation game; then don't make it.

Hello "Kanaye x" Closing the Book on Last Generation :)

I just noticed a typo, my previous post was supposed to say this...

if the developer is having problems making a current generation game run on a previous generation console; then don't make it.

    Sorry for the typo.

    "(1) Halo: Combat Evolved --> www.youtube.com/watch"

I find difficult to accept that Halo 1 pushed the Xbox's limits, especially when it was being developed with PC in mind before it being ported to Xbox when Microsoft bought Bungie. And even if it did, then why does Halo 2 looks prettier?

I can't speak about the games you cited on 360 as I played neither of them (I did play a Team Ninja game on the original Xbox) but I'll bring forth another example: Gears of War.

The first one took advantage of what the dev kits of the time could do - this one was designed with the 360 in mind unlike Halo 1, but it's hardly what the 360 could do as Unreal Engine 3 evolved and brought forth more changes that could be made with the
360's limitations. To use this example, saying that Gears 1 compared to, say, Judgement or even Gears 3 holds up today is being dishonest.

"My response to this is simply, if the developer is having problems making a current generation game run on a previous generation console; then don't make it."

And alienate users who don't want / can't afford an XB1? Lose out potential sales when AAA development is hugely expensive? Really?
