    hi...i have 2 accounts with xbox live...this account I had to create when I was having problems with my original account...I want to close this account but when I go to my microsoft account to do it...Im worried that it will close my microsoft account as
    well as this xbox account.

    can anyone confirm that if I close this xbox profile account my microsoft account will still exist?

    How do I do it? Help pages referer to contact XBox support if I want to do it. Which is this forum right?

    If you'd like to delete your account you will need to contact phone support here. They will be able to assist you with that. However, if you are attempting to switch e-mails
    over so it's usable on another account you can just follow the instructions
    here    .

    Hi Andhel,

    I understand you want to close this account, and i'm assuming its because you want to close it at the Microsoft level. This is possible by having support escalate it for you. When you created this gamertag, the email you used to create it also made a billing
    account even if you haven't used it. If you are sure you NEVER want to use this gamertag or that emaill as an xbox account then you should call support at 1 800 4 MY Xbox ( 18004699269) and ask an agent to help you make this happen. I should warn you that
    you will need to know what information you used to create the account when you call.

    Thank you for your answer, but for me it's not normal.

    It's my account, I want it to be deleted, I do what I want.

    In this case, if it stays on the servers, it can be retrieved.

    There is personal information so it concerns me.

    I want it either to disappear completely or to return it to me.
