Cloned Account issue

Discus and support Cloned Account issue in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I have set up my sons account on xbox live and now when I log in under my own account the details appear to be my sons name and profile picture....     Cloned Account issue


    I have set up my sons account on xbox live and now when I log in under my own account the details appear to be my sons name and profile picture. Anyone else have this happen to them and how did you rectify it?

    some one has tried to copy my account and they have been very abusive to others now they think it me I gave been told to report it but saying speak to enforcement who deals with this

    The enforcement team don't use the forums.

    The only way to report someone is via your console.

    Not sure how someone would copy your account,once a gamertag is in use then it is unavailable to anyone else & can't be copied.

    If you think your account was somehow compromised then follow the steps here

    Probably you have registered your account with your child's data. I would suggest you to contact xbox support in order to verify your account data and offer you a possible solution: (800) 469-9269 if you're in the US/Canada or

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The Xbox profile may have been established with the Microsoft account email address that you use. It is possible to create a separate Microsoft account for your son in which he can use the Xbox services.
    However, it is not possible to transfer games, saved data and currency to the separate account. Our website contains an article entitled

    Choose an Email Address to Use With Your Microsoft Account     which provides steps on how to create a new account. If there are two separate accounts that were created, we recommend changing the primary email of the accounts. There is an article on Microsoft's
    website entitled
    Manage Aliases on your Microsoft Account     which explains how to change the primary email. It is important to note that an existing Microsoft email such as @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com and msn.com cannot be added as aliases. Those types of email
    addresses cannot be recovered once removed from the account. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Oh maybe you should also delete the clone account and keep your original only. If its bad to clone humans its worst cloning an account too.

    If you cloned your PC MAC address to the xbox and they are both on the same network, this can cause an issue. Try removing the cloned MAC address.
