    Clips being cut when having a headset plugged in


    I've had this issue for like 2 years now and it's starting to get on my nerves, sometimes when I'm playing a game while im wearing a headset and I record a clip it will be cut to 15 seconds length no matter what I selected before and the clip will have no audio, is there anyway to fix this or stop this from happening?

    No ive not been muted they can hear me but sometimes when they talk they just cut out and i cant hear them for a bit and it only happens on the app and i cant use a headset because my controllers broken and it doesnt recongnise a head set being plugged

    Hi

    Firstly when your headset is plugged just try wiggling it near where you plug it into the controller to see if it cuts out, if it does cut out try plugging the headset in and out a few times just in case there may be may be dust or something affecting the
    connection.

    Other than that it does sound like it may possibly be a controller issue but the best way to confirm this would be if you have access to a second controller such as a friends one that you could try to see if you still get the same occuring.

    This is a really strange issue. It's almost acting like the adaptor is behaving like the chat headset that comes with the box (or that the controller is seeing it that way), in that when the standard headset is plugged in, the chat audio cuts out in exactly

    Thanks for coming to the forums. This means that it is not being recognized being plugged into the controller. When you updated your controller, was the headset plugged in at the same time? If not update it again, with the headset plugged in. There is also
    a
    stereo headset adapter     that may help in this situation.
