    Clip button not doing anything


    Half the time when i click the clip button nothing happens. Ive got some of the most insane clips and they just dont save. I have tried pressing capture options, capture, start recording but nothing happens no matter what i press. I am considering selling
    my xbox and giving up on gaming

    When you start recording a clip, you have the option to disable the microphone next to the stop recording button. By doing this, the clip will not record anything your microphone has picked up.

    You can't share game clips

    It might be any manually uploaded clips, people who just use the clip button on Xbox should be fine as it more than likely wont show anything disallowed on Xbox ( since its on the Xbox already)

    ^ Eh? PS4 alway records your last 5, 10 or 15 minutes of gameplay depending on your setting. If you do something save worthy just hold the share button and save clip. You don't need to turn anything on as it's always running.

    What happens when you try and record a clip? Does an error message appear?

    Have you tried doing a hard reset of your console by holding down the power button for ten seconds before releasing and pressing the power button again?
    No errors. Just notification “Clip is being prepared” and no notification “Your clip is ready”. In gallery there are no clips. Yes, I have tried hard reset.

    To record clips longer than 30 seconds, you have to to do the following once you've started your game:

    1. Press the guide button on your controller.
    2. Press the menu button, then select Start recording.
    3. To end your clip, press the guide button, then X on your controller.
