Clicking Sound/Game Loading Impossible/No Sound

So this was discovered today. I was playing Destiny and for some reason, it seemed like nothing would load on the character screen or any of the merchant screens. Couldn't get the vault to open either. So I thought its just my internet connection so I
turned everything off and reset everything. Well when I powered my Xbox One on, I got the Green Screen of Death and then eventually an error showed up. So I tried everything all the way to the system update which I don't think I did correctly cause I didn't
hold the two buttons long enough I think, but eventually my dashboard came back up. Throughout the whole time of doing this, when my Xbox One was on I would hear this clicking sound, with probably half a second to a second apart. The Destiny disc was out
of the system the whole time during this. After it started working again and I reconnected everything, I put Destiny back in and right off the bat at the character select screen, the game sound stopped completely, the character models wouldn't load and the
clicking sound came back. So not sure what this is, but if my Xbox One is about to take a dump on me, I seriously hope its going to be something that is covered.

Thanks for your reply, it works fine at the moment hard to explain how loud it is but i hear it even with tv volume pretty high. It sounds like a fan knocking against something and its coming from the vented side. I have done everything you suggested but
its hasnt gone away. The only time it stops is when i tilt the console. Also when i turn it of it slows to a stop. Im just worried if i let it carry on it might hurt my xbox which i had to save for a long time to be able to buy..

Hi Nathan Ashun,

Is your Xbox working correctly? How loud is the clicking? Some noises are normal to hear. It would help us a lot if you could point out an area that it's coming from. Try ejecting a disc to see if it happens. If that does happen try to see if it's coming
from the left side, or by one of the fans, or another area entirely like an external hard drive plugged in.

Also, try doing a hard reset to see if that helps. With your console on hold the power button down for about 8 seconds until it turns off. After that turn it back on and see if the problem persists. If the problem does persist try unplugging it for a few
minutes and plugging it back in.

If you've determined that it's inside the console, it's definitely not a normal sound, and there is no disc in the console, and the steps above don't resolve the only solution for a hardware issue like that would be requesting a repair or trying to exchange
it at the retailer you purchased it from. If you want to do a repair you can request one here. Personally though if it's a very faint sound, and everything is working ok, you may just want to
watch it for a while. The console warranty is good for a year, so if you can't exchange for a new one at the retailer, maybe keep an eye on it for a couple months before sending it in. It could just be a a weird harmless fan click as it spins a little.
