So

Like many of my hardware failures with Xbox, (or Microsoft in general) Is that they come at unexpected times, and are unfixable! I have hope that somebody can help me however.

Recently, my mic for my xbox one controller broke, so i moved my parties to my Xbox app on Windows 10, which worked kinda, doing as it was advertised and nothing more, but recently when i attempted to join a party, the only thing party members heard was
a loud, obnoxious and painful sound, (imaging the sound The Flash makes when he vibrates), and no matter which audio source i used, it would still sound like this. Even with no audio devices even enabled it would make this noise! The games i play on xbox are
voice communication intensive, so without a way to audibly communicate with team members has severely hurt my gaming experience, anybody with an answer to this PLEASE tell me how to fix.

A distorted audio when communicating with Xbox Live parties online is possibly caused by a network connection error or a server connection error. If you're using headphones, speakers, or another audio accessory and you hear a crackling or distorted sound,
the accessory might not be connected properly. To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following information:

Are you using a headset to chat with Xbox Live parties?

Is the microphone working on a different device?

Have you tried to update the sound card drivers on your computer?

In the meantime, you may refer to this
link for solutions that can help resolve the audio issues on Windows 10.

Hey everyone! Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with Party Chat within the Xbox App.

Because the app is still in beta please be sure to leave feedback within the app when you close out of Party Chat. A dialogue box should appear asking you to provide feedback where you can describe the issue you're having.

Hi there,

since the app is still in Beta, be sure to leave this as feedback via the Feedback option in the App itself. The Feedback option can be found bly clicking your profile and selecting feedback. This will start the Feedback-hub app and will allow you to provide
feedback.

This should result in the issue being fixed with future updates.
