Clearly Xbox Support/Enforcement are playing me for fool

The word CHIGGER is apparently considered a racial slur and not what the word really means BUG. After a decade of going by aka BUGBOY 3D i've been renamed to FLUFFYFOAL66389. All this because the Xbox police says the
word CHIGGER is offensive. Not even caring enough to warn me and give me a name change they just changed a decade old name because CHIGGER the bug is racial! It's so bad that a mod removed the word from this post - Gamertag Change

CHIGGER is a bug no matter the minds of stupid or ignorant people. I'll make a Redditt poll and see what the internet think .

Clearly you don't know how the enforcement team works if you believe that.

I agree that for some bizarre reason it is almost impossible to communicate with the enforcement team directly. However, that was the only bit of information the enforcement team disclosed to me after several messages posted on their forum asking why no
action was being taken cheats on the game I enjoy playing.

So you can try and discredit me but it's true they did tell me that, it was the only comment they would make.

I guess you are one of these people who think they know everything and won't admit when they are wrong.

You are wrong if you believe that the enforcement team investigate every complaint made.

 

As xbox ambassador you should be aware of the info regarding forced gtag change.

From the xbox enforcement page:

Controversial religious topics

Notorious people or organizations

Sensitive current or historical events

Any "sound-alike" or "lookalike" words, phrases, or puns that reference these topics

 

If you check the
Urban Dictionary definition of Chigger, the second definition is "an offensive term for a chinese person who thinks they're black".

So while Chigger originally means a bug in the Trombiculidae family, there are a lot of words that have (had) a harmless meaning, but are considered offensive nowadays.

Like the
short nickname for "Richard". The
colloquial British slang word for Cigarette. And many other examples.

So while it's unfortunate for you that you had a forced Gamertag change, I see you already embraced your new name with an awesome custom gamerpic, which is so fluffy, I'm gonna die.

 

I'd be careful about how much further you push this. It may cost you your Ambassador title too
