Clearing XB1 games on PC (Win10)

Hi guys.

I have two disc XB1 games Im selling, and want to clear on PC. I have no access to an XB1 anymore.

If I sell the games without clearing, and the buyer inserts the game into his own seperate console and plays it, will my game progress transfer over / remain on the disc that he or she now posesses?

just for clarification, i do not need to worry about clearing the progress?

just because im going to sell them off tomorrow and need to have full understanding

Basically the game progress goes with your xbox profile.

It is against the terms of use to sell xbox profiles.

The game progress is not saved to the discs in anyway so if all you are doing is selling the discs themselves then the person that you are selling them to would have to sign into their own profiles and start the game from the beginning unless they have played
the game previously and has a game save/progress attached to that xbox profile that they are signed into.

You can go ahead and sell your Xbox One game discs without worrying about removing game saves as they are only stored on the console internal HDD or the XBL cloud.

No there is no saved data on discs - they are not re-writable,

You must be old school when cartridge's did that and needed to be wiped before selling or returning to the video store for that added nostalgia...

Agree. It need include XB1 and even WIN10 games when WIN10 comes out in the market.
