    Clearing system cache on Xbox 360


    I'm having a problem trying to clear system cache, go to settings - storage - press Y for options - clear system cache, and nothing happens. In the device list it shows only flash drive, does not list hard drive.

    I did this and lost my game save of red dead redemption had to start from the beginning again.

    Is it supposed to delete your saved games?

    No. Clearing cache should only delete what's in the cache. Nothing else.

    Are you able to save to your internal storage device, or is it not showing up anywhere? If you can, try removing your USB storage devices and clear cache while those are disconnected. Let us know if it helps Clearing system cache on Xbox 360 :)

    I do not think that this will cause deleting the updates and data related to games and other things.This will only delete useless things.
