    Never had to clear the cache since my console is new but, question I have is to clear the cache the system has to be on before you can power cycle the system right?

    Clear Cache In Settings?

    Waiting for them to put Restart and Power Off Console in the quick menu. So I can just hold the Xbox button and restart from there.

    Has Microsoft added way to clear the cache in settings on the One? It's in the 360 settings so it should be available on the One.

    Hi there in order to clear your systems cache the console will have to powered on in order to preform this action.

    Hold down for 10 to 15 seconds power down and that's it right?

    There are some steps that you might need to take in order to properly clear the cache however a simple hard reset (like mentioned above) will more than likely do the trick.

    The other steps are as follows:

    1. Press and hold the power button down on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

    2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console

    3. Press the power button on the front of the console a few times to ensure any remaining power inside the system is drained.

    4.Plug the power cable back into the console and wait for the power brick light to change from white to orange

    5. Turn the console back on.
