    clear cache on XB-1S by pressing L1+R1+Y for 10 seconds


    Can you do this (clear cache) by pressing L1+R1+Y on the 'home' screen? This is done instead of a 'hard reset'?

    Clear your system cache by selecting your memory then pressing "Y" then clear the cache. It should help.

    Update Slow as cold molasses.

    Clear the system cache by going into system settings, then memory, then go to device options by pressing y on your consoles hdd, then go to clear system cache

    Hey there orbitalblimp!

    That controller combo you are talking about simply refreshes the home screen, it does not clear your Xbox One's cache.
    Power cycling is the easiest way to do that.

    Hey,

    Also try doing this process to "Speed Up" your xbox.

    Go to settings, then "Disc & Blu-ray" > "Blu-ray" > "Persistent Storage" > "Clear Persistant Storage"~

    It doesn't effect any saves or games & apps on the console.
