    How do I delete a secondary gamertag from my microsoft account because it interfers with my main gamertag

    can't recover my gamertag keep saying game couldn't start

    whenever i try to recover my gamertag it keep saying game couldn't start and i try the clear catche but it didn't work for me

    Operating Xbox one and Xbox 360 on the same live account?

    So for games that don't also have a 360 version, there should be no issues, but since im playing destiny which has the backwards capability there are issues? I bought the Xbox one version so is there a way to separate the data storage on the accounts so
    I can keep my gamertag, but my sister and I will be playing on different game discs? In other words I could keep the same gamertag, but start the game all over again on the xbox one?

    I accidentaly verified one of the posts as solving my problem. It did not. XBOX support team just keeps having me clear my system cache and redownload my gamertag and it doesnt work. Getting pretty peeved at having to keep redownloading a game that wont

    How can that be true, if other gamers with gamertags that exceed the character amount are still allowed to keep their then the system must allow for it? I'm not asking for a new gamertag, just my old one.

    We suggest
    removing and re-download     the Microsoft Account from the Xbox one console since it would clear up some issues on it. Give it a shot and let us know if we can further assist in this or any other issues!

    I've been having the same issue for a few days now. Here is everything I've tried.

    I've deleted my gamertag and put it back on. Two gamertags mine and my wife. cleared persistant data Deleted the app and reinstalled Set up two factor authentication Reset my netflix password Cleared all devices from my netflix account reset my netflix password
    I have two xbox one's and the issue is on both consoles. We have two gamertags and it doesnt work on either tag. It is working on all of my other devices. Two 360's, PS3, PS4, my smart TV, ipad app, iphone app, and laptop. It is only on the xbox one
