Cleanup/reset directories show in System Video Player?

Just share the directories (either from file properties window or through media center) and they will show up when you go to the music or video players on the 360, even without pairing it as an extender. And it has nice visual effects for the music that
you can change with the game controller.

It makes an Xbox video recording directory within the pictures directory.

I have the same problem. The video apps don't update their respective libraries properly or in some cases at all it seems. What I do is explore the drive using a file manager app (I use File Explorer) which allows me to see all the files in each directory
including the root directory. Then I just select the file thereby opening it which then prompts you to select the app you want to play the video from a list that only contains the apps that are able to play that type of video file. The app takes a few seconds
to load on my OneX, probably longer on the other consoles, and video starts playing. Oddly even after playing it, it still won't show in that player's library.

1.On the desktop, press the Windows + R keys simultaneously to open Run;

2. At run type cleanmgr and click OK to open Disk Cleanup;

3. In the Disk Cleanup window, select the C: drive (if asked) and click OK;

4. In the Disk Cleanup for Windows 10 window, select the checkboxes for the files shown and click Cleanup System Files.

5. After cleaning, check the checkboxes that are not checked again and click OK>Delete Files.

For anyone searching you can play mp4 files on your xbox by playing from a zip drive. You can only play mkv files with a player like vlc on your computer or any device that will drive that app. Playing avi files over a network works great, win media center
seems buggy in general and also doesn't show all files regardless of type.
