cleaning up game/ app menu

I have downloaded a couple demos, then uninstalled them, but they remain on the right hand side of the screen, saying "ready to install" I don't want them, I don't even want to look at them. how do I clear them up?

also one of the demos "zoo tycoon" is still in the main games menu, saying ready to install, this stuff won't go away, please advise how to "clean up" this stuff

Skype and Youtube has no "go back" button?

Press and hold the menu button when on the home screen (with the game/app selected). It pops up a context menu to allow you to close the game/app.

 

Problem with Blu-Ray playback

Hi MadMartinMarsh,

Assuming you haven't already done so, try the following :

1. Try playing a different Blu-ray disk and cleaning your disk too.

2. Reset the cache and restart: Settings / Power & Startup / Restart now.

3. Launch the Blu-ray Player app. If it's still acting up, go back to the dashboard and Show Menu (or menu button on the Blu-ray Player app) / Manage App / Manage All / Uninstall All

4. Install the app again by ejecting and inserting your Blu-ray disk again. It should automatically prompt you to install it again.

5. Try playing your disk again.

Is this a legitimate concern????? (no)

 

Basically it keeps the data valid to allow quick installs should you want to re install the application, or game you own digitally. Think of it more like Un delete

 

Also, once you install & play enough games, it will be so far to the right, you will barely ever notice it's even there. I only see it like once a month with my 10 games installed.

 

ok, so it just stays there. I know that seems petty, but I don't get it. so I have to look at a dopey zoo tycoon app, ahh I miss my 360, it was much better

 

I haven't tried this yet, so I don't know if it'll work, but with the installed games and apps, if you press the menu button, you can manage them on your HDD & on the Cloud - see if you can do this with the icons to the far right. You just might be able
to remove them from the cloud, which would remove them from your games and apps section entirely. If it doesn't work, then IMO, it's the way it should work.

 

no that did not work, I have to look at the stupid zoo tycoon the rest of my life. its stupid and petty, but I feel it should just go away, I did not purchase the game it was just the demo.

 

Zoo Tycoon demo got a bug,this is why it still appears....This is a well know bug (Xbox support) and should be fix soon.

 

Yea what's worse is in the Xbox Video app all the movies I've rented are stuck in My Library and can't be removed. Pain in the *** sifting through my movies jumbled with expired stuff.

 

I have that same issue, Truth - I have a ton of free 10 min. previews I wish it wouldn't show anymore...
