Also, why is it that a clan is being represented by a Silver member, and how is it that you're #6 if you are a 'really laid back clan'?

There is NO minimum on clan members. Elite clans are leveled up in two ways.

• If a person joins a clan, and they still retain their Founders Bonus of 500 xp from being an early subscriber to Elite, they can apply this xp to the clan.
  
• Clan Ops are competitions based on certain objectives in certain gametypes. For example, play core Domination and get the most captures. The scoring is broken down by percentiles. Top scoring clan, and top scoring clan only, typically gets a large reward.
  Then the top 10%, top 25%, and the rest get smaller rewards.

You do not have to be a Premium member to be in a clan, however at this time, only your top 6 Premium members scores will count. Here's an example. 8 of your clan members participated in a Clan Op. Your top scorer is not premium, but the rest are. His score
will show, but not be counted in the top tally. The next 6 only will count, and any below the 6th ranked premium member will not count.

If your using the Clan playlist then it is 4 v 4 - clan members only. Whereas clasn can participate in public match lobbies 1-6 players and it still count towards the clan wars battle. nb: must have 3x members enlisted in the clan to be eligible to participate
in clan wars.

6 vs 6 will be perfect happy middle for friends/clans to have a coordinated game play. Cant remember where I did read but apparently clans or groups of friends have around 6-8 active members only at any given time that play the same game.
