What is Ghost Guardians?

Ghost Guardians is an exclusive group of members that enjoy gaming on a casual level but most have had competitive experience in the past (Mostly Halo MLG/GameBattles). While we are mostly casual gamers, we are preparing for raids and understand that serious
gameplay is needed for this and we are setting the requirements for members to be a bit more than your normal casual gamer in a sense. We encourage members to communicate and have little to no drama during gaming. This clan is active mostly during the nights
and all throughout the days on the weekends. The majority of us are based on the East coast of the United States, with a few members residing on the west coast and have all been gaming for years with FPS games on Xbox being our focus. I have been the leader
for a COD:MW2 clan that was 2nd in the world to hit the top level 50 rank through ELITE.

Expectations:

We focus on having mature members that can communicate and know how to use teamwork. If you join our clan we expect that you will play for the long term of the game and not just be one of those players that hit max level in a few days and never touch the
game again. We strive to have raid groups going at all times and PVP groups as well. We will have an assortment of classes and in the future we will balance this out so only members of certain class can join, but at this time we are open to all classes until
we reach the expected goal in place.

Clan Environment:

Mature casual group of members that have experience with FPS games and generally focus on winning but do not rage quit if losing occurs. We just learn from our mistakes and push forward. I have led several clans in multiple games and have a clear understanding
and organizational structure for clans to accomplish tasks in an "MMO" type game such as this. We do not tolerate drama and are only here to have a good time and help fellow members from reaching the best loot in game and most likely focus on PVP once our
gear is maxed out.

Popular timezones of players:

While many of our members live on the east coast, we also have members on the west coast. We will establish raiding times once we have more members.

Requirements:

-Mature

-Have a headset + teamwork communication skills from previous games

-Play almost daily

-Commit to raids or activity to completion without quitting and leaving your teammates having to start over

-First person shooter experience

This sounds interesting. The only problem is, once COD, and Halo, release, i will be playing those as well, and not just Destiny. I imagine that will prevent me from joining a clan

Sadly, our clan is almost capped at max members, but you are right most clans will fail.

Ratio of clans to game tanking does not even make sense. The majority of people that play the game will not even join a clan or deal with that aspect of the game. GG though thx

 

Gatta have 5 fr to raid very few console gamers are gonna do that, and pvp sux this game has about 6mos, im gonna play it for a few, but its going the way of defiance, if act/bungie has half a bil set aside for 3 games over 10 yrs they may as well start
some new proj.

 

While you are true, console gamers are more casual and raiding MMO style isn't heard of besides PC. Bungie has created new aspects of gaming in the past and if anyone can push this concept it is bungie.

With our clan, you say very few will have 5 others that will raid, well that is the exact reason we are selective in who we let in our clan and finding 5 others to play with will actually be quite easy to setup. Others outside of clans will whine that they
cannot find players to beat raids and raids will most likely get nerfed and become much easier so randoms can complete them, similar to tons of other games.

 

Wont be alot of whining just alot of not playing, if raids do get mm it will be to try and bolster #s, but it wont matter cause this game is going to go like defiance, sorry but console gamers just dont care about community and there is so much coming soon

 

But look at the bright side, this clan thread got way more play than any others

 

Definitely agree that console gamers are not as hardcore and hopefully the clan members we bring in will be the select few that will actually go hard in the game for raids.

But yea, majority will fail and hate the game if they cannot complete the content. While our clan smashes through it to get that end game gear
