Claim Game Pass Ultimate on another XBOX Series X

I bought the Xbox Series X bundle with 3 year Game Pass Ultimate. I let my son use it since his Xbox Series X (non-bundled) was in transit. He nor I have yet claimed the Game Pass Ultimate, but from what I have read I have to claim it on that Xbox. I essentially gave him my bundled Xbox Series X so he could play with his own Game Pass Ultimate (mine has not activated yet).

I have his brand new non-bundled Xbox Series X still in the box unopened. I am taking ownership of this new Xbox since I gave him my bundled Xbox. My question is this...can I claim and activate the bundled Game Pass Ultimate on the new unopened Xbox? My son already has his own Game Pass Ultimate, but since I took ownership of his unopened Xbox, I want to claim my Game Pass Ultimate on it, not the bundled Xbox I gave him in place of him giving him his Xbox that was in transit.

From what I understand, the Game Pass Ultimate goes with your gamer profile not the device, so I assume I can do this.

Same here.

I upgraded from the ultimate pass on Xbox one X to the series X but it won't let me claim it on the series X.

Also Tetris connected won't open either.

What can I do my Xbox series X just arrived today but when I go redeemed the game pass ultimate it said claimed by 3/15 which is two days ago and it won’t let me claim the game pass so what can I do now?

The subscription will be tied to the account that purchases it, not the console. You won't be able to claim it on the new console since it wasn't purchased with that offer so you would have to claim it on the bundled console, but you can use it on any device.

Correct. Just make sure you are signed into your account if that's the one you want the Ultimate on.

So I completely understand you. I'd have to claim the pass on the bundled Xbox (now my son's) with my gamer profile, and once I do, I'll be able to access my gamer profile on a different XBOX and utilize the Game Pass Ultimate that has just been activated?
