    Cities Skylines wont start on Xbox One


    Hi,

    I purchased Cities Skylines for Xbox one about a year ago. A few months ago the game wouldn’t start up. It gets to the loading screen prior to the main menu and then freezes and sends me back to the Xbox main menu. I have tried re-installing the game several
    times, clearing local and cloud saved data, restarting my console, resetting system settings to facotry default, clearing my cache, doing a hard reset, and clearing my xbox profile from my device. Nothing seems to be working and the game developer doesn’t
    understand what the issue would be as it is apparently not wide spread. All my other games start fine, my internet connection works and my Xbox has all of the latest updates. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could try other than just requesting a
    refund for the game?

    Hello Nasir,

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning an inability to play

    Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters    , as the game will not start.

    Do you own the full game of Cities: Skylines - Xbox One Edition?

    If not, the reason being that Natural Disasters is only an add-on for the full game, and the full game would need to be purchased in order to play this specific DLC.

    Cities: Skylines Season Pass Windows 10

    Having checked the Microsoft store for the season pass for the Windows 10 version of the game, there isn't one listed. It's possible you ordered the Xbox One version of the season pass by mistake.
