Cisco RNG200 HD DVR STB Not Compatible?

Do not see above box under compatible STB in support forums. Could this be causing my channel pixelation issues with some channels?

hey stud! i have a comcast cisco rng200 stb. i still have issues even with the full screen tv even skipping the setup. i'm on the phone with ms tech support now. it seems to be an issue with the stb, not the xbox one. thanks!

 

HELP PLEASE pixelation on Syfy HD and other HD channels

I have a Cisco RNG200 HD DVR w/Comcast connected to my Xbox One. We have been having pixelation issues on channels 660 (syfy hd) and other channels above 660 but nothing below 660. This issue disappears when the cable box is connected directly to the tv.
Is there anyone else having similar issues?

It is most likely a setting on the STB. Let me know if the url above did work for you.

 

It's a Cisco STB, not a Motorola. The one mentioned in the article is an RGN200N

 

They come from the same manufacturing line and have the same firmware revision (mostly...). Cisco, Pace, Motorola, and Scientific Atlanta although different brands, are the same units. Think of this like the car company GM they also have Holden, Chevy, Saturn,
I'm missing 1 or 2. Although the badges are different the heart is still the same. Post back with the results

I'm not sure how to change reduce quality to rgb and not sure I want lower video quality. I just direct connected stb to tv and problem is solved.

 

RGB is color scale. If you don't like the look, change it back, it is a different video scale (color scheme). It is under the settings of the cable box.

 

Thanks but I'll wait for an update and just connect stb to tv until then. Pixelation only occurred on handful of stations from 660 to 745, but none below. Thanks anyway. Btw Comcast Xfinity also.
