    Changing NAT type

The Hitron is the primary router. My cable is connected to it for fast download speeds.

    Arris

    -Hitron

    -- Cisco

The other cables are connected to Cisco.

How far away from your Actiontec Gateway is your xbox one? feet wise.

X1 is stuck on Moderate NAT

The Actiontec appears to be a gateway (modem + router). Thus, your Xbox is behind 2 routers (the Actiontec and the Netgear), which creates a classic double NAT problem. There are a few workarounds I have described in other posts here (search). One of those
options is to disable the router on the Actiontec by placing it in "bridge mode" as detailed here:

    support.reachone.com/configure-actiontec-gt784wgr-dsl-modem-for-rfc1483-transparent-bridging-mode

You would then do all port forwarding on the Netgear. Or, if the Netgear has a good, working UPnP implementation (not always the case with consumer level home routers), you should just be able to enable UPnP and let the Xbox use it to forward ports, rather
    that doing so manually.

Xbox Live keeps disconnecting after a random amount of time

Hello dean! Thanks for your post! It appears that the Actiontec you are using is a Gateway device, meaning it has a router and modem built into one device. Do you have the Linksys router connected to the Actiontec? If so, is the routing function of the Actiontec
disabled? What specific device is your console connected to? Also, which device are you changing the network settings in? Thanks! :)
