Cisco (Set-top Boxes) 8642HD: Xbox1 S adding unnecessary "enter" after entering channel #
This worked fine for years with an XB1, after upgrading to an XB1 S I can't change channels without it bringing up a channel details screen that does not go away without pressing another key on the remote. I believe it's doing this by adding an "enter" key
    after inputting the numbers.

For example, I say "watch ESPN" and the xbox sends "1 0 1 2 enter" My cable box changes channels without the enter being sent. All it does is bring up the channel details screen (blocks half the screen, I have to grab a remote and hit cancel to make it
    go away)

How do I fix/remove this? The xbox automatically detects the cable box during setup (cisco explorer 8642HDC, code=C1877), I've spent hours searching for alternate remote codes but i'm unable to find anything.

    :)

Ah, I see. Yes, we send a "channel enter" command after the channel digits.

Can you guys let me know what codeset we're using for your Cisco boxes?

    TV Remote Code Issue

I have this issue with my sd channels on the xbox not hitting the enter button after the channel numbers are entered.

Xbox One won't control my HW150PVR tuner

EDIT: i can recreate the above error if i add "enter" to the end of the channel command when typed from the remote. Using channel24-1 as an example :

Typing: 2....4....-...1 changes the channel properly, with a THREE SECOND DELAY AFTER the last keystroke is entered, then it changes. .

Typing: 2....4....-....1...enter re-tunes the present channel, INSTANTLY, exactly like when the kinect tries to change channels.

It REALLY seems that there is an unneccessary keystroke after the numbers are typed. Please fix this xbox!

I have the same problem with the Cisco 1642HDC. I suspect this may have to do with Cox(its their software running the box in my case and the IR codes are the same on the old motorola this replaced. The problem that i see is that the xbox sends a command
i suspect the INFO button after everything it does causing the info pane to pop up covering the screen after any command sent by the one. Also for 4 digit channels on this box sending the enter command is not required and causes the cable box menu to pop up
after an Xbox channel change. Also I've noted that the lineup selection is not very smooth. Entering my provider and the zip code brings up 2 selections for another market one of which is pretty close to what it should be but not quite.

Xbox live error code 8015000A Xbox 360

I had the same issue. What I think solved it was logging in on my Xbox1 and then going back and tried logging into my 360. After I logged into my Xbox1 I was able to enter my password on my 360 and successfully login. Good luck
