This worked fine for years with an XB1, after upgrading to an XB1 S I can't change channels without it bringing up a channel details screen that does not go away without pressing another key on the remote. I believe it's doing this by adding an "enter" key
    after inputting the numbers.

For example, I say "watch ESPN" and the xbox sends "1 0 1 2 enter" My cable box changes channels without the enter being sent. All it does is bring up the channel details screen (blocks half the screen, I have to grab a remote and hit cancel to make it
    go away)

How do I fix/remove this? The xbox automatically detects the cable box during setup (cisco explorer 8642HDC, code=C1877), I've spent hours searching for alternate remote codes but i'm unable to find anything.

    :)

  2. Cisco 4742HDC not compatible

Ah, I see. Yes, we send a "channel enter" command after the channel digits.

Can you guys let me know what codeset we're using for your Cisco boxes?
