Cisco 4247HDC no video on Xbox One

I am unable to set up my box with the Xbox One. It shows no video and every few seconds the Xbox states that there is no signal. Anyone find a fix for this at all??

    Cable channel won't change...

My cable used to change channels with the commands but now it does not. I've tried unhooking everything and plugging it back up and still nothing. It used to work but doesn't now. The xbox understands what I'm saying but the channel stays the same when
I tell it to go to another channel. Please help. I have cox communications. Box is Cisco 4247HDC

  3. Xbox- Live TV Scientific Atlanta 8300 Constantly Switching between Output Resolution (480i, ,480p, 720p, 1080i)

I had the 8300HDC box and had the same issue (output resolution kept switching). I was not able to get any video using the XBOX HDMI pass through.

I called TWC to see if there was a firmware update or something for the box (since a previous poster said they had the same STB and it was working fine)..

TWC said there was no update and "no one can get the HDMI pass through to work using the XBOX One"

I decided to switch out the 8300 HDC for a Cisco (sorry I couldn't find a model number) and everything is now working fine. I have video and audio and the resolution is no longer switching.

If you are having issues and the Cisco STB is available to you I would suggest switching your 8300HDC out for the Cisco.

    Changing NAT type

The Hitron is the primary router. My cable is connected to it for fast download speeds.

    Arris

    -Hitron

-- Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360 (All share one cable.)

    -- Cisco

The other cables are connected to Cisco.

HDMI Input causing intermittent Audio and Video signal loss issues

    1. Cisco ISB7500

    2. AT&T

    3. CISCO ISB7500 (HDMI) Xbox One (HDMI) Pioneer VSX-1021 (HDMI) LG LX6500

Removing the Xbox One eliminates the issue, and swapping HDMI cables into and out of the Xbox One does nothing. Signal loss is basically permanent now.

HDMI cable from Xbox One to receiver is the one provided with Xbox One, all other HDMI are insignia highspeed HDMI.

July 2014 update broke Live TV for Cisco 8742HDC

I also have this issue with a Cisco Explorer 4742HDC (COX Cable) -> XBOX One OS Version 6.2.11787.0 (xb_rel_1411.141124-1759) fre -> Vizio M470SL Version 3.19.5.001

Same issue. 2d flashes on the front of the Cisco which indicates it is trying to initiate the HDMI HDCP handshake and the XBOX ONE is either not responding correctly or it is not allowing the handshake to pass through correctly both ways between the Cisco
    and the TV.

There are some annoying work arounds ... one Power everything off and reboot the Cisco and the XBOX ONE (Unplugging the XBOX ONE as well)... this does not always resolve the issue. The other work around is to plug the Cisco into your tv for the handshake
and then quickly unplug it from the tv and into the input on the XBOX ONE. Neither work around is acceptable as the XBOX team just has to fix the way the XBOX ONE responds to the handshake and make it proper.

If your team has not figured out that it is the HDMI HDCP handshake yet... fire them... especially when I as a consumer... (although I am a systems developer as well) can debug the issue without having the source code in less time... then yes they need
to be fired as it is clear incompetency.

Static on Xbox one home screen and menus

    US region

8742HDC Cisco Mocha set top cable box connected to HDMI IN of Xbox One.

Xbox One HDMI OUT to my Denon AVR-1911 receiver.

Denon HDMI Monitor Out to a Panasonic Viera TC-P65VT50 (65") plasma.

The "static" only occurs when in the Xbox One Home screen or settings menus. Going to any full motion video source like TV and back to Home makes it go away quickly.
