    Chronic Issue Loading Apps and Disconnecting from Live


    Recently, my Xbox One has been having chronic issues opening apps and staying connected with Xbox Live. For instance, I just turned on my One and went to Upload to edit some game clips. Upload never opened - the spinning circle just infinitely spins - and
    I was forced to go back to the home screen and quit the app. I then went over to Upload Studio and when I tried to select a clip from My Clips to edit, nothing ever loaded. This happens quite literally every day with not just Upload, but other apps like Friends
    and Party Chat.

    I'm not sure why this happens. However, I have gone through Settings>System>Console Info to figure something out, and I noticed that my One was last updated on 12/2/2014, and under the heading Latest Status, it reads Update Pending. I have checked on this
    a few times over the past few days and it remains the same.

    Also, I have problems staying connected with Xbox Live. For example, I have recently been playing AC: Unity and during gameplay I will be disconnected from the Ubisoft servers and I will go back to the home screen and I will be disconnected from Live. On
    the bright side, it will promptly connect back, but it is quite frustrating as to why it is happening.

    Another note, when I start up games, like Madden 15, it syncs data EVERY TIME and a majority of the time it fails and asks if I want to try again or play offnline.

    Overall, these issues have been persistent, confusing, and maddening. I am seeking assistance here before I make a call to Xbox Support to figure these issues out.

    I just ran some Detailed Network Statistics through the Network part of Settings and these were my results:

    Download Speed - 8.08 Mbps

    Upload Speed - 3.10 Mbps

    Packet loss - 0%

    MTU - 1480

    Latency - 87 ms

    Wireless strength - 71%

    Live has been diaconnected for 2 days in china.All of chinese !!!

    It is now the 27th in China and I am still having terrible issues with xbox live. I am constantly getting kicked from games and disconnected from live. As soon as I press 'A' to load a disc it disconnects from Live. I can sign back in sometimes but get kicked.

    It's so frustrating!!!!!

    Netflix. Changed my password on the website. Rebooted the Xbox.

    Got disconnected from live AGAIN. rebooted Xbox. Loaded Netflix app. Logged in with new password.

    Netflix worked. Stupid bug.

    Xbox live is still playing silly buggers. Still randomly disconnecting after sloooooooooow login (or a failed login). Very very annoying.

    Hey there Argalon! I understand you are having some issues connecting to LIVE. You mention that you get disconnected at random times. Do you find that you are disconnected when loading games or apps, or will it disconnect if you simply leave it alone on
    the Dashboard? Do you find you get disconnected only when playing certain games?

    Definitely post back with the info requested in the guide. It would be best to run the network connection test immediately after you are disconnected from LIVE rather than running it when everything is connected properly. Looking forward to your post, thanks!
