Christmas surprise ruined

My husband has the account, so I'm just the crazy wife. I ordered a personalized controller to the tune of $130.

A week later husband had to call to locate missing gift card on his account....which was found, thank you tech support. however, in the process of finding said gift card it was revealed to husband exactly what was purchased.

I am hoping for some kind of recompense for the fact that I've spent $130 on a remote he now knows about. maybe the sales team could send a gift card my way so I have at least one surprise for him?

I do not want to return or refund the controller, clearly he knows about it and still wants it. I would like a gift card or something for the lost surprise.

I usually don't like leaks at all because it ruins the surprise that someone or a company has been putting their effort into but there's people out there that wanna ruin all that for them and ruin the surprise and everything.

are u sure ur logged into the right xbox account? check if the downloads are fully downloaded too

I only use one Microsoft account for years and it is automatically login at start, I also do not share my subscriptions.

Issues related to purchases are always frustrating, apologies. Since MSFT support has already provided the recommended channels to go through it seems like waiting for Mojang is the only option at the moment, hopefully your daughter can still enjoy Minecraft
for now.

At the top of the Marketplace there should be three items in the top right:

"<Gamertag>'s Packs"
"+<coins>"
Magnifying Search icon

If you click on the "Packs" option, then it will show items that were purchased. It's not a perfect representation of a purchase history, but you can then sort the items so it shows "Newest First" which I think will show in the order of "purchase", and
try to extrapolate if anything was accidentally purchased that way to account for the coins? Now, that is assuming the coins showed up and were used accidentally. It's very possible that the backend is mucked up with the increased traffic due to the holidays,
and in that case, you'd have to wait for Minecraft support team to get back to you, if you followed the steps I linked earlier under "I didn't receive the Minecraft Coins that I purchased. What should I do?".

If it's the latter, I apologize for having to wait. I know that's no fun, but they should get back to you at some point. I hope it all works out.
