Choppy NBA 2K14

    I just recently bought 2k14 and the game seems choppy it constantly hangs in the main menu any solution?

    Thanks for your post.

    Sorry to hear you are having difficulities to play your game.

    We don't know what you already tried to fix the issue, so let's start from the beginning.

    You said the game hangs in the menu. Is your whole Xbox freezes or is it just the game that isn't responding?

    First, try to clear your System Cache 3 times:

    1. On Xbox Home, go to Settings and then select
      System.
    2. Select Storage and then highlight (don't click on it, only highlight) and then press the following controller-key-combination: LB,
      RB, X, LB, RB,
      X and then confirm with Yes.
    3. Repeat this process another 2 times.
    If that did't help, please check for corrupted files in the Games and Apps folder:

    1. On Xbox Home, go to Settings, then click on System.
    2. Click on Storage and select the folder Games and Apps.
    3. Now check all folders for corrupted files. These file are indicated with a yellow
      exclamation mark.
    4. If you've found one, select it and click Remove.
    If that didn't help, and you have the game on disc, try to install the game on your hard drive:

    1. Insert the game
    2. Highlight the Play game option and click X for advanced options.
    3. Select the option Install game.
    4. This may take a while. After the procedure is complete, try to play the game.
    If you have downloaded the gane, please remove it and re-download the game:

    1. On Xbox Home, go to Settings and then select
      System.
    2. Click Storage, then click Games and Apps.
    3. Go to the Games folder and select the game. Click Remove.
    4. Go back to Xbox Home, Settings, System and then click Account.
    5. Click on Download History.
    6. Click the game and download it again.
