Choppy/ Blur feel on series x?

Hey all I'm in desperate need of advice here. I've sent this series x three separate times for this problem and it comes back the same everytime which leads me to believe its not the series x, okay so my problem is when playing 60fps games or under I get what feels like screen tearing and heavy blur when turning or anything fast paced in game, maybe its ghosting but im not fairly sure. 120fps games work fine but again I get some ghosting/screen tear.

My setup is a asus VG32VQ1B 1440p 144hz monitor, and apparently this is a brand new console as well so im stumped, could it be the monitor somehow? Maybe its intended for a high fps/ refresh experience only? It happens in story games as well so I take it, it's not a internet problem.

Sorry, I must’ve confused you with someone else. Regardless, these non standard displays are achieved by overclocking the hardware. It’s non standard “cheats” so that people will think they’re gaining an advantage and spend more money.

Buy the best 4K TV you can afford from Samsung or LG, in terms of things like internal electronics and local dimming (OLED, QLED). All monitors are are TVs with some tweaked software they attach a big premium to. Try before you buy. Any decent store will let you haul your PC in as long as you’re not doing it during busy times and give it a whirl

The literature says it’s 165hz, which is a non standard refresh rate, and not divisible by 24. So you’re seeing a random number of frames the cheap hardware and software in the monitor is choosing at random. You see more blur at 60 because it’s having to make many more choices inthe same period and not doing as good a job

Xbox is designed for VESA standard resolutions and refresh rates.

I have, I've tried every setting on xbox and the monitor I just got a new monitor a Dell s2721dgf, and its consistent on there as well, im not entirely sure if its screen tearing but if I move my camera in game doesn't matter which game I get a choppy nauseating like feeling. On YouTube videos of the same games on series x it looks way more smooth, like a crisp transition mine feels off. I can provide videos and pictures if needed I'm just not sure if its me or the console at this point. Three series x's so im stumped

I have this exact issue when I connect my Xbox SX to my computer monitor( Dell S2719DGF) and one of the other posts mentioned how 144hz isn't divisible by 60 evenly. I think that's precisely the problem. It isn't noticeable when looking at PC content because the PC hardware is doing the work instead of the Xbox I suppose and can display basically any framerate. I ALSO had this issue with a TV. A Hisense TV(U6G) which is a budget brand like TCL and has a dirty screen effect to boot. It's a shame that setting this stuff up is just a wee bit more complex and annoying than you'd want as a consumer.

I play Call of Duty on my monitor, but my Xbox SX is generally more powerful than my 1070 and with no graphics cards in the foreseeable future this issue was driving me nuts. I guess I'll look out for one of the official XSX supported monitors.
