Choppers in single player

I did the single player campaign on Xbox 360 and am re-playing on Xbox One. On 360 I was able to find choppers from the helipad (I think they were news choppers), from one of the hospitals or from police stations.

On Xbox One I can only seem to find them at the army base.

Is anyone else having this issue? Did they move them elsewhere?

I wound up calling a blimp for the base jump mission on top of the building but am curious.

Confirmed: Armored Kill Helos Invulnerable...Atacama Desert II

I shredded choppers in BC2 with mounted MG's.....both the original and Vietnam maps...as for snipers, or players in general being useless, you're describing my teammates every single time I play alone...without exception

I would assume that choppers still land frequently at the boat docks.

After you unlock the skydiving missions, can't you just jack one of the skydiver Mavericks if you need a copter? Just hold Y instead of tapping it and you'll pull the pilot out of the cockpit. There's one by the racetrack that I swipe all the time.

I don't really know how I feel about the tank shell disabling aircraft. On the one hand it would be pretty realistic for it to completely destroy the thing and everything inside. On the other hand... it's not really realistic to use the 120 mm cannon as
an AA gun, and it is pretty easy in this game. Choppers can't usually be successfully engaged by a single player but it also can't successfully be used by a single player.

well...firing 6 stingers at a single helo and scoring 4 hits ought to net the the shooter something other than frustration....no one player in any previous BF game was able to dominate the way a single chopper can in this game...it's bs ....I don't think
anyone's suggesting a single engineer should be able to run around the map wasting everything in sight with a single shot....just that concerted effort should net positive results not negligible results
