Choose a Game for Free – Sept. 7 – 13 !!!!!!

This is such a good deal for the community. I am happy for the consumers that take advantage of this great deal.

As for "early adopters" No free game can take away from my awesome midnight release experience and watching the evolution of the Xbox One since late Nov. 21st.

As well as playing all of these next gen games.

MS announced Play Anywhere launches 9/13. You should be able to download from Windows Store on that date.

Xbox One releases in Japan, being reported as dismal

Unlike the US and Europe. Residents of Japan are currently more concerned by whats going on with their nations status, and thus have neither the time, patience, nor the inclination to simply set around the tube playing games, or running apps.

Their is some good news for the US though.

" Microsoft announced on Thursday a special promotion: If you buy an Xbox One between Sept. 7 and 13, you can get any game you want. For free. That includes the highly anticipated "Destiny," which comes out on Sept. 9. "

Another person complaining about free. Who cares if they are trying to encourage more people to join us? They aren't doing this to be nice, they are doing it to grow the xbox one community. Anyone who plans on buying an Xbox one should jump on this offer.

the people buying now get ONE the people that got it day one have had SIX cant see where the issue is

 

^GwG was to promote XBLGOLD, and is not relevant in this case. Especially with a game like Destiny being one of the games offered.

 

like i said before they gave free games with day one xboxs

and i would say it is as the op is complaing about getting it early and not getting a free game

and to be honest would rather have the games i got for having my xbox for months than destiny

 

Its called an incentive you didn't need one otherwise U would be feeling pleased right now as you would be picking up your new console and game tomorrow ur smile was when you took delivery on release and felt good because only a certain amount were available
at launch.

I got my x1 in November but not on release day, no freebie either and then had to wait till Xmas to use.

Am I disappointed hell no my choice no one else's ,

happens with everything you buy in life unless you live under a rock and never buy things I don't know why people seem disappointed with an item being sold cheaper or with extras added after they have had it and paid full price on its release its called
life and good things come to those who wait alot of people didn't wait their fault I'm afraid if they feel ripped off. etc ect ect

 

i think it's a bit ridiculous to scream foul at anything you purchased nearly a year ago. it's absurd really. towards the holidays they'll probably have other promotions. would they "owe" people who bought it last year then too?

you buy your device when you buy it and you get what you wanted when you wanted it. i don't see the reasoning at all in complaining that you're owed something when you got exactly what they promoted to you at the time you purchased whatever it was.

they didn't say buy now and you'll get a game 9 months later. i don't understand how we don't know how device purchases work these days. phones, TVs, consoles, PCs etc. there's always something new around the corner.
