Chirping xb1?

    Chirping xb1?


    For the past day my Xbox has been making chirping sounds similar to that of a cricket (yes I did look for an actual cricket) it comes in set of 3-5 chirps and is extremely high pitched, it is approximately 5 months old and regularly cared for (vented, inspected
    for damage, etc.) there is no signs of outward damage and it has not had any falls or other 'traumatic incidents' to my knowledge a small list of actions taken on my part:

    Removing disc and cleaning (no signs of damage to the disc)

    reattach all cables including ether net, HDMI in/out

    wipedown exterior from remove dust

    Inspection of interior (through vents therefore not conclusive, no signs of insects)

    the sound is definitely console related, stress of the load put on it at any given time does not seem to affect the issue. Any help that could resolve or identify this issue would be greatly appreciate

    Xbox One won't stop chirping!! (Video)

    My Xbox One also won't stop chirping! I've followed the suggestions and it still continues to chirp, it is very annoying.

    I am considering requesting a repair and try to get it fixed that way, has anyone fixed the chirping issue?

    Hello. You might be experiencing issues with your Xbox's internal Fan. You can try to temporarily reduce the noise by changing your power mode to energy saving. But I suggest you get that repaired. It might get worse in the future.

    Hey mate,

    Yeah, if its not an actual cricket hiding around, then its definately not meant to make that sound.

    I'd do as the posters above have suggested, and look to getting it repaired. Better to do it sooner while the console is still within its warranty period. Further details on how to send it in for repair are contained in the link below

    i have the same problem with the chirping noises, the chirping was not there when i first got the xbox one but after a wyl now it starts making the noises. the fan seems to be loud off and on.
