Chiming when off

No warning messages just shuts off on its own only thing it does is the Chime it would make when u shut it off by pressing the power button itl be workin fine then I’ll hear the chime an then it shuts off I’ve tried jus about everything I’m not sure what it could be

It is possible to disable the startup and shut down chimes int he console settings.

Startup Chime

• You can now modify when you hear the startup chime! You’ll find three new options in
  Settings > Power & startup > Power mode & startup.
  • On (startup chime plays anytime the console is powered on).
  • Only with power button or voice (startup chime plays when console is powered on via the power button or voice; does not play when powered on with the controller).
  • Off (startup chime never plays).

New problem. When I did this, the game launched, and when it launched I started up a game of casual, and when I loaded into the game, my Xbox completely shut off on me. This was also happening when I was in the tutorial stage of the game. The Xbox completely turned off 3 times before this 4th occurrence.

Anyway to fix it? It is currently on my internal storage drive, and I am playing on an Xbox One S. I just want to play the game and my Xbox keeps shutting off.

Also when it is turning off, I turn it back on, and it chimes and I have the chime feature off on my Xbox, and the chime makes a very scratchy Xbox on sound also, just thought I should throw that in there.

The sound is probably normal and it should be possible to adjust it to your preferences using the instructions below.

I just tested. With the chime of screams, ring of prayer, and crown of the sunken king, you can get your faith all the way up to 20. This could be very useful. Even though you can't use the chime of screams, you can use it in your off hand to raise your
faith and cast more powerful spells with a chime you can use. It also opens up the ability to use the witchtree bellvine, the priest's chime, or the disc chime.
