    Chime coming from my console...


    I have been having issues with my discs ejecting randomly so I decided to go digital. Now while I am playing any game I get a strange chime coming from my console. It's not the normal ding that you hear when you eject a disc. It sounds very much like the
    warning box that pops up on my laptop telling me I haven't restarted my system in more than a week. I have searched everywhere for an answer for this issue and cannot find a single topic about it.

    If someone can offer me some advise or a fix it would be most appreciated.

    Controller chime

    whenever I start up my controller after it turns itself off, I’ve started having this weird chime that happens when I turn it on. It’s only been over the last few days and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was? It sounds as if it’s coming from the console

    Freezing issues - won't let me restore factory defaults

    I had the same issue. I resolved it by disconnecting my console from my wifi. As soon as I did that it instantly started the factory reset.

    That is odd. Can you try holding the power button on your console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything for 5 minutes to see if that helps?

    All it does is make the chime sound. No light comes on just the chime.

    Thank you. When I select "Remove me from this Xbox", the system chimes but does nothing, which also happens when I try to "Reset factory defaults" - a chime when I press the button but no action is taken. What can I try?
