Child's activity reporting not working

Hello

Ive been watching the activity report for my kid on family.ms website for 3 days now and all I see is 0-30 mins of game time on his xbox which I know isn't true since he's played for hours last few days

Im not sure what's going on since I haven't changed anything on my end. Is there a way to turn off activity reporting from the xbox itself that my son probably did and I don't know about?

Got your question, thanks for asking on the forum!

As far as I know, you don't have that option, but you can set his screen time, that is, the time he can spend playing on the device , from that you will be sure that he played only the times you set for him.

Screen time does work, However if you still want to make sure your child is playing the set amounts of time you put on Screen Time, you might still want to look at the Activity Report.

that link is not very clear about the xbox steps. For eg how do i verify it has the latest updates . Where is the Windows Start button on an xbox like it is on Windows 10 machines?

Thanks that does! I don't have much confidence in the Activiy reporting as my post suggests but knowing Screen Time works is re-assuring.
