Childs accounts are visible at the microsoft family, but not at xbox family

I have the identical problem as described in this previously answered support question (Childs accounts are visible at the microsoft family, but not at xbox family).

Basically, I do not own an Xbox console, but my children play Minecraft (on tablets and Windows 10 PC). In order to use multi-player gaming with their friends/cousins, they need to use an Xbox gamertag. I am using microsoft family accounts successfully,
but the Xbox gamertags created for those accounts are never successfully associated with the microsoft child account, and therefore the privacy settings cannot be managed (by them or by me, the parent of the family account). How can I fix this if I have no
Xbox console? The other forum question I reference above appears to be dormant, as my reply (and about 10 others) have not been answered. I presume this is because it was marked as having a verified answer.

I am the parent. My account exists on both microsoft and xbox. I have a child account, which exists on both microsoft and xbox. The child account is a member of my microsoft family. The child is NOT a member of my xbox family. I cannot figure out how
to add the child account to my xbox family. I don not have an xbox console.

I am having the same issue as the others, as my child's account is showing up in our Microsoft Account, but not our Xbox Account. He is unable to use the community features and online mode within Forza Horizon 3 on PC. This is the parent account ()
and the child account is gpeers.

I've had exactly the same issue. I see the kids in my Microsoft Family but not Xbox Family and we are not Xbox owners. Chat Support were helpful last night but clearly had no idea about this issue and tried to tell me it was specific to the two iPads my
kids use (obviously it's not as the issue happens on my Android phone too).

This post is from the parent account (gamertag '') and my two kids gamertags are 'oongybear' and 'babypenguin116'. Hope someone sees this and can help!

Hey, Pins! Sorry for the delay here, but you should be able to see your children's accounts on your Xbox Settings now. Please let me know if you have further issues!

Hello, I have this same problem (no xbox console, and child who wants to play Minecraft with his cousin). Parent gamertag is and child gamertag is WedgedJuggler68. Please help resolve the issue.

Is there anything I can do to help raise the priority of getting this fixed? It seems like MS might want to avoid such a large roadblock to Xbox-mobile platform adoption. I'm not happy about posting a child's gamertag information in an open forum like this,
but do not see an alternative, as the chat support could not provide any help on the issue .

 

Same issues here, still not sorted, just get sent in a loop being able to see my Microsoft family but not see them as xbox users on windows.

I am having the same issue trying to set my child'support profile to play minecraft with friends and we do not have a game console. they are in the family page on Microsoft family but I am not seeing the profile in Xbox settings to update the profile to
allow playing minecraft with friends.

Please advise how to correct this issue.
