Discus and support child's account login in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When I setup an account for my son I set it up as a child's account (I wish now I had not done it this way).     When I setup an account for my son I set it up as a child's account (I wish now I had not done it this way). I am perfectly fine with the restrictions it places on his account, such as no multiplayer, no friends added, no purchases on my credit card, etc.
    However, there is one annoying setting that I would like to change and don't see anyway to change it.

    I do not want the console to ask for a login password. I'm always with my son when he uses my Xbox One so I don't like the wasted time of needing a password just to login his gamertag. Our internet is sometimes slow and it takes several minutes and several
    attempts just to login. Is it not possible to leave all the child safety settings as they are but just not require a password at login?

    You have to log in both accounts. first the child's, then the parent's when the login page appear the second time. Hope this helps.

    How to accept the term of use

    If you have a child's account you need to re-login with the parent account. For more info check this support page:

    There should be an option to remember password when you enter it. Are you sure you're checking the box?

    There is no option to remember password (probably because it is a child's account).

    Have you tried these steps?

    -On the home screen, scroll left and go to your settings (under the child's account).

    -All Settings

    -Account

    -Sign In, Security, & Passkey

    -Change my sign in and security preferences

    Here, no password should be available for a login choice. I believe the only time Remember Password is available is when you log in for the first time. Please let us know if this resolved the issue for you!

    I followed your instructions to get to the -Change my sign in and security preferences... and much to my surprise, "save password" was already selected. However, after backing out of the menu and logging out, when I logged back in it didn't ask for my password.

    Somehow it worked, thanks for your assistance!

    Trouble promoting a child account

    Ask your friend for the email account? If that is not working check at the Childs account at Account Security at Account Management. But yes! at the login screen you must login first with the Child account and then Parental! Hope this helps!

    Keep in mind you need to login into the parent account to see enforcement not.the child account since the adult account is the one managing the child account

    then login on your child account then it will ask for a new parental email

    I can confirm that this is happening to me. Now my Childs accounts are moved from Family Centre to individual accounts I have been asked to set up Secondary security. In doing so I have to verify details on the email address which in turn requires me to
    login as my child on the XboxLiveFamilly.com address and from there I am asked to login as an adult and after that it wants me to be in the States so I cant complete the process and the Child is locked out of their account , we just cant login.
