There is no log. But however there are work arounds that i can think of. By looking at their achivements on xbox. the games at the top are thmost reecently played.

    -

If you use netflix you can use the "recently watched" section to see what shows were recently watched (On Xbox the most recently watched is on the lefft in that section)

    -

Now, I have thought of an idea for you. You can put a code that will be required to use to sign into that spesific account (ussally a 4 digit code/controller button combonation) To set it, sign in to the account you want to put it on and scroll to settings
on Xbox home (All the way to the right) and i think it would be under account. (sorry im not sure, Id look but im typing this on my xbox so....... :/ )

Then, When your child(s) want to play, They will need you to be able to sign in. THat way you can figure out who doing what, how long that child(s) has been on ect. by just keeping track of when they are on and who is on.

(Whew thats a lot of typeing on the Internet Explorer app on xbox...... My brain is broken now lol )

Anyways hope this helps ya Dan.

    time limit for child

"To set screen time limits for your child on Xbox One
and Windows 10 devices, go to your family group and sign in with your Microsoft account. Then: Find your child's name and select Screen time. If you want to use the same schedule
for all devices, turn on Use one schedule for all devices." Unfortunately you do have to have a family account, but you should be able to make them an outlook.com email which I use for making other accounts.

It seams crazy i have to seg up a family account for something so simple big thumbs down microsoft
You need to understand its a powerful system, and works across multiple devices seamlessly.

I can limit my child to 4 hours of screen time and it works across his phone, tablets, xbox, and computers. I can also restrict apps, web sites, and content across 6 devices with just a few clicks. is it a pain to setup for a single device yes, but when
you have 6+ devices its easy and fast.

    time limit for child

The reason for this is so the child cannot just remove any restrictions such as payment, playtime or what games and apps they can play by guessing the pin or watching you put it in.

You can download the Family Saftey app on mobile, so you can change the settings on the go and allow your child more screen time additionally you can see what your child is playing and who they are playing with a messaging straight from the app.

Also if your child has Android and uses the Microsoft Launcher you will be able to see where you child is (the feature is optional and can be turned on and off by an adult in the household).

You can find all the features of the app here
    https://www.xbox.com/apps/family-settings-app
and you can find more about Family Safety on Xbox here https://www.xbox.com/community/for-everyone/responsible-gaming
