    Ok so I'll admit I didn't realize how powerful these gaming systems are when we first set up accounts. Since their creations my children's ages have 'magically' changed and all of my children ages 9-15 Are organizers and I am not allowed to change or lock any parental settings in their accounts.

    Q: how do I prevent my children from accessing horrible content on the xbox1s. They are all in my family but I do not have the ability to edit anything about them without going into their accounts and changing settings that they can change at will.

    Hello there!

    In order to fix your issue, you will need to add the accounts you created for them as members instead of organizers. When you add them as members due to their date of birth, since it's a minors one, they will automatically be added as children accounts.

    You will need to make your account the organizer; in this way no one will be able to change their settings except for you.

    Family Organizer Account: Ensure that you are logged in with the Microsoft account that serves as the Family Organizer. Only the Family Organizer has the authority to manage family settings.

    Family Safety Website: Visit the Microsoft Family Safety website (https://account.microsoft.com/family/) and sign in with your Family Organizer account.

    Account Management: Locate your child's account within the family group and click on it. Look for options related to account management or permissions.

    Admin Privileges: Review the settings and permissions assigned to your child's account. There might be an option to grant administrative privileges or elevate their account to the administrator level.

    Hello Neil, in cases of child account you have to create a Family account as organizer and add the child account so that you can authorize these actions on their account.
