    I recently tried to purchase the Rocket Pass, priced at $9.99, for my son. Typically I am able to input my password on their Xbox, my home Xbox, and make the purchase from my credit card. This time was different. Instead it asked my son to send me a request
    for the purchase. So I sent myself a request.

    I recieved an email stating that my son was requesting that I add funds to his account to purchase the Rocket Pass or rather the 1100 credit purchase to use to unlock it in-game.

    At this point there were a few options. $10, 15, 25 and up to $100 to send him. Without thinking too much into it I sent him the $10.

    Back to his account, he receives the $10 credit... the the pass is $9.99. $10.74 with tax. Now it is asking to send me another request so that I may spend another $10 to make up for the 74 cent difference.

    How am I supposed to be able to just buy him something outright without having to send him these odd lump somes? If he wants a skin that is $1.99 am I expected to send him $10 to make the purchase? Am I now expected to spend $10 to make up a difference of
    less than a dollar?

    Please, tell me this is a safety feature that I can turn off. The old system of passcodes worked just fine and saved money
