Child Protection in Forza Motorsport 7

Bought Forza Motorsport 7 in the Windows 10 Store. Gifted cars cant be downloaded because of Child and Youth Protection.

I am looking throught every possible option in XBOX App, Microsoft Store, Microsoft Account for hours and cant find any related option to turn off. How do I deactivate this overprotective crap.

Q: When does Forza Motorsport 7 release?

A: For those who have pre-ordered the Forza 7 Ultimate Edition, you should have access as of September 29th 2017. For all others, Forza 7 should be available on October 3rd 2017 at 12am local time.

Q: Can I play Forza Motorsport 7 on PC?

A: Forza Motorsport 7 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title – this means that DLC, achievements and progress will carry between Xbox One and Windows 10 so long as you use the same Xbox Live account that purchased a digital copy of the game.

Q: What do I get for pre-ordering Forza Motorsport 7?

A: All users who pre-order Forza Motorsport 7 will receive the Hoonigan car pack, after launch this car pack will not be available.

This error is usually shown when the account you're on is a child/teen account OR if you've manually changed some settings. The settings are on this page
Sign in to your Microsoft account but child accounts will be redirected to another page about adding a child account to a family group - if your Microsoft account is an adult account
you can see that page but any changes will not take effect.

Changing your birth date does not change your account status as your Xbox account age is permanently connected with the first date of birth entered when creating your account. Your account will be promoted to an adult account when it reaches 18 (20 in Korea
and Japan) on Xbox one. Xbox support can not change you from child to adult account in any way.

Your Microsoft account can be an adult account but the Xbox account can be a child account.

You will need an adult to create an account and add you to a family group to change some settings for you.

Have the adult on their adult account go here
https://account.xbox.com/Settings and click on the child's account and allow the option on the first page called "Share stuff people make (Xbox 360: Member Content)" to everyone (must be everyone). Also, on the first page, "Others can communicate with voice,
text, or invites" to Friends or Everybody. And on the Xbox one/windows 10 tab the second option down, "Join multiplayer games", enable that. And then log out and in on the account in question on the console/device and that account can play online and have
that problem solved.

I have just one account and i dont think its a childs one. I can see all the options and put
everything on "everybody" or "Allow". And still the message comes up in Forza 7. How can I create a Family if there is only one account? The button "Create a family account" only opens a Window
to add a family member. I dont have family members or other mail adresses to create a family!

This can be, because your Microsoft account is adult but your xbox account is a child account. No changes will take effect for real if you can see the settings page.

The only way to fix this is to create another account that's above 18 years old and invite your account to a family group with the new account as the adult. From there you can change those settings and THEN they will take effect.

Sorry about this but that's the only way besides waiting until the account turns 18.

I would try logging into Xbox.com and reviewing your settings there. The settings are detailed and there are quite a few tabs to go through and see all of your privacy settings. This is where I have resolved a few issues when I find something odd is
blocked.
