Just out of curiosity, if you are playing local co-op do both players get the achievements or only the player controlling Aurora?

Just an FYI, the game features something like 650 Uplay credits. Good for anyone who plans on getting Watch Dogs

 

@nirvadam, i'm guessing only the player controlling Aurora, it gave me some message before starting a game that said something along the lines of only the main player gets achievements.

Really been enjoying this game. It's absolutely gorgeous and the music just does nothing but make me feel relaxed and happy, even when I am in the middle of an intense boss fight.

The combat system is really fun. Simple, but fun. It's just perfect for the game. I love the story, it's really cute and I've cracked up at a few of the things the characters have said. My only gripe is that it makes me want a nice, big, 3D RPG so badly.

 

I just finished it. I stand by what I said about the art style sucking and constant rhyming being horrible, but those two things aside. It's a pretty good game. Honestly, if I paid 20 or 25 for this, I wouldn't have complained.

 

I am finding it intriguing.... graphics are great.... game play a bit slow...

It's worth the price,good mix between turn base RPG,platform and some puzzle,too.

Great and nice to be able explore after beating the main story.

 

I'm only able to play in short bursts.

I guess I'm just not as in touch with my "inner little girl" as some of the people here?

 

For those that are saying that the poetry and rhyming make the game not that realistic, it is called fantasy, it is a break from the norm, I don't want everything to have a real feel to it, I want to get lost in a complete fantasy world, this could really
be called the heart and soul of gaming. in the 32 years of gaming I have done, fantasy and wackiness wins out to the likes of modern day realism. I have seen a lot of video footage of this game and as soon as my wages come in I will purchase straight away,
doing mega amount of overtime so I can purchase a good few games at the end of the month.

 

Couldn't be happier, with this game. The art and music are sublime and the story is sad, with a twist of whacky.

I especially love the Grandia-esque style of combat. Totally ripped from one of my favourite ever RPGs and done beautifully!

Child of Light deserves all the praise it has gotten...and then some!

 

The game was great, but it was a little too short.

 

Glad to see a fair few folks pleased with the game. Without getting any spoilers, is the story from start to end pretty good?
