    Child just turned 18. Cant buy anything from the xbox store, telling him he isn't authorized.


    My son just turned 18. He was a child account. It automatically made a him into a adult account. Now its telling him that he cant buy anything because he is not authorized to. I cant change his settings because he has an adult account. How can i fix this?

    add adult to a child account

    hello everyone ! I have a very bad problem . my child created an account for himself and signed in with that account to xbox app in windows 10 and created a xbox live profile . but when he went to xbox.com , he cant see or edit his profile because the account
    is parent restricted ( he isn't 18 years old yet ) . therefore he cant access groove online player or even xbox forums ! . I tried to add him as my child in microsoft family but nothing changed . when i sign in with my account and go to content access , my
    child profile don't shown . what can I do ?? I want to remove all of this protections for my child account ( with adding myself as adult to him account or remove adult need in that )

    Problem buying Xbox 360 backwards compatible games

    What the Xbox store actually says is 'Sorry, your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox.'

    1. He is on his Xbox

    2. It will allow a purchase using my account, but won't him to buy anything even rated less than an 18..

    Hope someone can help.

    How old is your kid? You're happy for him to play 18+ rated games but not be able to receive messages, chat and have your trust not buy anything on Live???

    Besides, if he doesn;t have your cc info either at hand or have it stored on the account he can;t buy anything

    Just buy him Rayman or Zoo Tycoon and be done with it

    however it was obtained technicaly illegaly as he bought it from the store before the release date. there for the shop is breaking the law and so is he by buying it surely. i also see NOTHING in the forum terms and conditions that tell me i cant name him.
    im not "flaming" him, im simply pointing out what he is doing. im not saying he should be banned just warned that he shouldnt be buying it this way.

    What do you do when you have a payment error that basically says “this payment is not authorization”?

    I have purchased stuff with this card. It has a $25 limit and I bought 3 things with it but I had to go through the whole “payment not authorized, select a different one” at least 4 or so times before it let me buy them. Now I’m trying to buy something else and it will just will not let me buy anything at all. As for telling him, he said that to show the recipient but I told him that i threw It away because at the time I didn’t see it
